Dear Colleagues

On behalf of Local Organizing Committee and Executive Organizing Committee, I have the pleasure to invite you to attend the 19th International Workshop on Electromagnetic Induction in the Earth (19EMIW). This workshop will be held in Beijing, China, from October 23 to 29, 2008. The pre-workshop will be held in Beijing, China, from October 20 to 23. The post-workshop will be held in Chengdu, China, from October 30 to November 1.

This bi-annual workshop is the preeminent international gathering of the electromagnetic geophysics research community. It allows researchers to present their latest research results, to exchange new scientific ideas and to promote international cooperation.

I warmly welcome you to participate in the 19th International Workshop on Electromagnetic Induction in the Earth. I am looking forward to seeing you in Beijing in October.
