ACCOMMODATION

1. Jiuhua Grant Hotel

Accommodations for all delegates who attend the workshop will be provided in the Jiuhua Grant Hotel. Since the workshop will be held in tourist season in Beijing please book the room before August 1, 2008. The LOC will not be able to guarantee the availability of rooms as requested if the request for reservation is made after August 1, 2008. The standard room (two beds) or single standard room (double bed) are available for all participants. The room rate includes service charge. The prices for room are in following which including breakfast and Chinese taxes. Only Chinese food for breakfast for JH-Class4, JH-Class5 and JH-Class6)

Either JH-Class1, JH-Class2 or JH-Class4 room only has breakfast ticket for one person.(JH-Class1, JH-Class2 或 JH-Class4 只提供一个人的早餐券。）
Please provide the person's name with whom you prefer to share a room if you plan to live with partner in a room when you choose JH-Class3 or JH-Class5. The economy rooms (JH-Class6) are also in good condition, they are provided preferentially to young students.

2. Long Ge Hotel

Accommodations for all persons who attend MTDIW (pre-workshop) will be provided in Long Ge Hotel. Please book the room before August 1, 2008. The LOC will not be able to guarantee the availability of rooms as requested if the request for reservation is made after August 1, 2008. The tariff rates are given below:

3. Notice

    1) You have to buy meal tickets at locale.
    2) Please make reservation through on-line Reservation System
    3) Rooms will be allotted on a first-come first-served basis.
    4) Please pay for booking room in US Dollar with amount equivalent to the above value of RMB (Chinese Yuan) when you order the hotel room based on the exchange rate prevailing on the day of payment.

4. Accommodations for post-workshop will be announced in another website which is under construction.

Payment: Please pay for booking room in US Dollar with amount equivalent to the above value of RMB (Chinese Yuan) when you order the hotel room based on the exchange rate prevailing on the day of payment.

Receipts: All who register and/or book room in advance will receive a confirmation via email and they will also receive a receipt on-site.
Cancellations:
A written notification of cancellation must be sent to LOC via email to EMnet-china@ies.ac.cn or by mail (Dr.Zhan Yan, Institute of Geology, China Earthquake Administration, Beijing 100029, China).
1. For cancellations received before Before 1 Sep. 2008 the $50 payment will be deducted.
2. For cancellations received before 15 Oct. 2008 the $100 payment will be deducted.
3. For cancellations received after 15 Oct. 2008 the $150 payment will be deducted.
